As much fun as the Battlefield V beta was one of the issues that some folks had was that the maps would only have a couple of vehicles on it.
Vehicles are going to play a huge roll in Battlefield V. DICE intend for vehicles in Battlefield V to be more than just something a player can jump in to kill a couple of other players before they themselves are killed. DICE want skilled players to be able to really utilize the vehicles in Battlefield V to their fullest and that what they plan to implement.
You can now specialize vehicles which is a new thing for Battlefield V which I think sounds really cool. So if you are a skilled enough player then when you are in a vehicle you can be a truly amazing asset to your team. It could be that you are using the vehicle as an offensive weapon or that you are using it to help move your teammates around and also provide cover for them.
I think that the way that DICE is going about vehicles in Battlefield V is very interesting and it is something that I plan on putting in the work to get the hang of. Of course with that being said, if there are only a couple of vehicles on each map then the chances of you actually getting to try them out could be slim.
This is an issue I have had actually with the DICE Star Wars Battlefront games. The vehicles have been awesome, but I never hardly got to use them. I honestly would not mind if they put five or six vehicles in some of the larger maps. Sure it would be chaotic, but it would also be a lot of fun.
