The people at Epic Games are just printing money thanks to Fortnite. It turns out that some of the money they are getting, gamers are claiming they spent by accident. Currently, Epic does give you a handful of “do-overs” where you can get your money back if you feel you spent it by mistake. Fans though have felt it is to easy to buy stuff by mistake and wanted something better in place.
Well, Epic has listened and in Fortnite update, 9.10 there is said to be an undo button that will allow you to correct any incorrect purchases you have made. It is important to note that there are no changes to the refund policy. So, if you buy a new skin, play a few matches with it and then have buyer’s remorse. You cannot then hit that undo button and get your money back.
From the way I am understanding it, when you are in the store and have purchased something, you can then “undo” it before you have used it. I think this is a fair way of doing it as no doubt some people would have tried to take advantage of it. You have to give it to the guys and girls at Epic who are always working to try and keep people happy.
On a personal note, how the heck does this even happen? I have never in all the years I have been gaming (not just on Fortnite) managed to purchase something by accident! Pay attention to what you are doing people!
